Luthrie is a village in the parish of Creich in Fife. A small stream shown on maps as Windygates Burn (but know locally as Luthrie Burn) flows through the village and occasionally floods.
About the village
- The Old Smiddy House built around 1790 is a Category C listed building.[1]
- Lower Luthrie House is a two-storey, four-window harled dated around 1800, and is also Category C listed.[2]
Other interesting buildings include the Old School House and the Village Hall.
Transport
Luthrie had a station on the Newburgh and North Fife Railway which was open to passengers between 1909 and 1951. The railway has since been lifted.
