Loch an Daimh, Cromartyshire

Loch an Daimh is a loch in Cromartyshire, in the very south-east of the shire's largest parcel, Coigach. Its name means "Lake of the Ox".
The loch is a ribbon in a south-west to north-east direction. From the foot of the loch at its north-east end, flows a small river, the Abhainn Poiblidh. It lies in a steep-sided fold in the mountains, with Cnoc Daimh (1,929 feet) standing over it to the north and Mullach a' Bhreun-Leitir (1,332 feet) and Mullach a' Chadha Bhuidhe (1,453 feet) to the south.
