Catworth is a small, delightful village in Huntingdonshire. It stands near Molesworth, in the westewrn half of the county, west of the county town, Huntingdon.
It is a village of winding streets in which is varied architecture; a delight to the eye. The village stands on a hill south of the A14, surrounded by farmland.
The parish church, St Leonards, is of the 13th century. It has an octagonal spire and contains a monument to Rose Dryden, sister of the poet.
The village has a restaurant, with bed and breakfast (“The Racehorse”). There is also a village playing field.
Little Catworth
A second part of Catworth is the hamlet of Little Catworth, which sits at the bottom of the hill from the main village.
