Leinthall Starkes is a small village in north-western Herefordshire, standing about seven miles south-west of Ludlow, and near the larger village of Wigmore: Leinthall Starkes is strung along the road between the two.
To the south is Leinthall Earls.
The village has a small, towerless church, St Mary Magdalene.
Places of interest
In a field on the western side of the village, just off the road to Wigmore, there is an Royal Observer Corps Monitoring Post which was opened in May 1961 and closed in October 1968.[1]
