Lillington is a hamlet in north-western Dorset, three miles south of Sherborne. The population of the wider civil parish was estimated at 50 in 2013.

The hamlet has two knots of houses; alone the local road over Lillington Hill, and on a back-lane off that road. To the south, on the steeper face of the hill, is a smaller hamlet, Knighton. To the west of Knighton i Beer Hackett.

The parish church is small and has a 13th-century nave. In 1605 Sir Walter Raleigh's second son, Carew, was christened here. The barn next to the church has two porches and seven bays and also dates from the start of the 17th century.

A long-distance walking route, one of the Macmillan Ways, runs through the hamlet on its way to Sherborne.
