Kilbrandon and Kilchattan is a parish on the west coast of mainland Argyllshire which also encompasses several offshore islands. Its only land border is with the parish of Kilninver and Kilmelfort to the north and east. It consists of 14,500 acres on the mainland, along with the islands of Seil, Easdale, Luing, Torsa, Shuna and Insh Island (also known as Eilean Nan Caorach). The total population in 2011 was 822.
A bridge, forming part of the B844 road, connects the Isle of Seil to the mainland, although not to the mainland part of the parish. Once on Seil, the road winds its way to Ellenabeich, the largest centre of population in the parish.
