Kester Peaks

The Kester Peaks are found in the Forrestal Range of the Pensacola Mountains in Queen Elizabeth Land, in the British Antarctic Territory. Their highest summit is at 4,100 feet.

These peaks were photographed from the air by the United States Navy in 1964 and surveyed from the ground on the United States Geological Survey Pensacola Mountains Project, 1965-66. It is named after Larry T. Kester, photographer with the United States Navy Squadron VX-6, Operation Deep Freeze, 1964.
