Horse Head is a small, rocky point on the west coast of Cumberland Bay West on the north coast of South Georgia. It is along the coast to the south of Grytviken, to the north of Hestesletten and the mouth of the Penguin River.
This point was called 'Hestes Hode', meaning 'horse's head' by the sealers and whalers from the appearance of the cliffs in profile. It was surveyed by the Swedish Antarctic Expedition in 1902.
