Information |
Hawk's Nest Shanty is an agricultural hut on West Falkland on Hawk's Nest Farm, in the care of the Falkland Islands National Trust. The Shanty and its accompanying horse paddock were acquired thanks to a donatation to the Trust by Tony Blake of RBC, a local deep sea trawling company.
Thye donation has allowed the contriction of a track from the Port Howard Road to the gate, and work has continued to renovate the building.
The Trust intends to adapt the Shanty to serve as a base on West Falkland for the Past Finders youth group to use.
