Ham is a tiny village in Caithness, now declined to little more than a sngle farmstead. It is found on the north coast of the county, overlooking the Pentland Firth, just east of the Dunnet Head peninsula.
It has a very short river running from a mill pond to the sea - a total distance of under 100 feet at high tide.
