Great Houghton is a village in Northamptonshire, just at the eastern edge of the county town, Northampton.
The population of the wider civil parish was recoded at 642 at the 2011 census.
The village has two pubs, a large village hall, and a hair and beauty salon. It was also formerly the home of Great Houghton School, a private day school, but this closed in 2014.[1]
