Glen Lochy beneath Beinn a' Chleibh

Glen Lochy stretches for 10 miles through Lorn in Argyllshire between Tyndrum (at the head of the glen) and Dalmally. It is 10 miles of bare hills and boulders and is according known as "the wearisome glen".

The River Lochy runs down the glen. The glen also givs passage to the A85 road, which replaces an old Military Road, and the railway line between Glasgow and Oban. At Inverlochy the Lochy joins the River Orchy and the glen joins the Strath of Orchy, before the latter river enters Loch Awe.
