George Rock
From Wikishire
George Rock lies almost awash on north-west side of Maiviken, a creek on the north coast of South Georgia.
The rock was charted by Discovery Investigations in 1930 and named after R. George Gourlay, Third Engineer on Discovery 1925-27, and on Discovery II 1929-37; and Second Engineer on Discovery II 1937-39.
