Forgue Kirk and Kirkyard

Forgue is a hamlet and parish in Aberdeenshire adjacent to the border with Banffshire. The parish is partially bounded on the north by the River Deveron, which also forms the county border. Across it lie the parishes of Rothiemay and Inverkeithny, while in the county of Aberdeen to the east lies Auchterless, the south Culsalmond and Insch and to the west lie Drumblade and Huntly.

The name of this place was originally written Forrig, and is supposed to be derived from the Gaelic language. St Margaret's Parish Church was built in 1819.
