The Flett Crags are rock crags on the north slope of the Read Mountains, five nautical miles north of Mount Wegener, in the Shackleton Range in Coats Land; part of the British Antarctic Territory.

The crags were photographed from the air by the United States Navy in 1967, and surveyed by the British Antarctic Survey from Halley in 1968–71.

Naming

The crags are named in association with other features of the area, which take the names of geologists; the Flett Crags are named after Sir John Smith Flett, a British geologist who worked on Scottish geology and volcanoes; he was Director of the Geological Survey and Museum of Practical Geology (later the British Geological Survey), 1920–35.[1]
