Summary

Description
English: Serjeants' Inn, Eglwyswrw This old 18th century coaching inn in the middle of Eglwyswrw stood alongside the turnpike road (now the A487) between Fishguard and Cardigan, not far from its junction with the Haverfordwest turnpike road to the west of the village. As a result it was once an important staging post where the travelling serjeants-at-arms sought hospitality. It also housed the local Petty Sessions at one time but is now a private house.
