Summary

Description
English: River Stour looking towards Wilden Stourport-on-Severn's "other river", the River Stour, meanders its way up from the Severn mainly out of sight and out of mind. It runs at the very bottom of most of this square and is crossed by a low wooden bridge near the end of a public bridleway from Wilden, though by this point the track has widened into a surfaced road for vehicular access to nearby properties. Only a tiny part of the bridge is in this square. Most of it is in the adjacent square SO8172. To take this photograph I had to stand on the part of the bridge in that adjacent square; the unacceptable alternative being to stand in the river itself. As for the view, it is looking in the direction of Wilden. A tiny slither of the righthand bank is in square SO8272 but most is in SO8271. There is no public access to the righthand bank. There is near the lefthand bank going in the Wilden direction a narrow public footpath (not visible in the photo) which currently is heavily overgrown.
