Elliott Ridge

Elliott Ridge rises to 4,774 feet to the south of Jones Valley in the Neptune Range, part of the Pensacola Mountains of Queen Elizabeth Land in the British Antarctic Territory.

The ridge was surveyed from the ground by the United States Geological Survey, 1963-64, and photographed from the air by the United States Navy in 1964. It is named after Commander James Elliott of the the United States Navy, commanding the icebreaker USS Staten Island during the establishment of 'Ellsworth Station', 1956-57.
