Elephant Ridge

Elephant Ridge is a sharp, curved ridge on Alexander Island, in the British Antarctic Territory, orientated roughly west to east and extending about a thousand yards. The highest point of the ridge rises centrally to about 2,300 feet and it is snow-free and ice-free in the northern slopes.

The ridge is found three-quarters of a mile south-south-east of Khufu Peak and one mile south-west of Giza Peak, by Fossil Bluff, along the east side of Alexander Island. It is named descriptively as the summit resembles an elephant's head with the ridge forming the trunk.
