Drinagh is a village in County Cork, on the R637 road between the towns of Dunmanway and Skibbereen. Drinagh is also close to Rosscarbery and Drimoleague.
The name 'Drinagh' is from the Irish Draighneach, meaning 'Place of blackthorns',[1][2]
Drinagh has a tennis court, two churches, one primary school, two pubs, one grocery stores, a hardware store and a creamery. The local Roman Catholic church, Sacred Heart Church, was built in 1932.[3]
Curraghalickey Lake is found two miles east of the village.
