Diomedea Island is one of the Kupriyanov Islands, which lie to the south-west of South Georgia (off the Novosilski Glacier).
Diomedea is to the west of Poncet Island. It is colonised by tussac grass and breeding wandering albatrosses; named after the Latin name for wandering albatrosses, Diomedea exulans.
