Despair Rocks

Despair Rocks rise to 98 feet above sea level to the west of Coronation Island amongst the South Orkney Islands in the British Antarctic Territory.

The rocks were charted by Palmer and Powell in December 1821 and named Rocks of Despair. The rocks were re-charted by Discovery Investigations in 1933.
