Information |
Crossford Suspension Bridge is a small, cast iron footbridge which crosses the River Clyde just south of Crossford. It was built by James Graham of the Carfin Estate to link the Lanark Road on the west bank of the river to the policies of Carfin House on the east.
The bridge was built with a gate at its midpoint that prevented members of the public from access to Carfin.
