Combe Martin Bay

Combe Martin Bay is a bay on Devon's north coast, opening onto the Bristol Channel between Widmouth Head and Little Hangman. The bay is edged by crags but has some small sandy beaches enjoyed by holiday-makers in season.

The bay lies is at the foot of the Exmoor hills and several of the little valleys cut through the hills meet here, bringing the waters of a number of streams.

The main village on the bay is Combe Martin, squashed along the steep dale of the River Umber and running down to the bay, with Berrynarbor similarly placed in the next valley westward. Watermouth Castle overlooks the bay west of Berryarbor.
