Clyst William is a hamet in eastern Devon, almost equidistant between Cullompton to the north-west and Honiton to the south-east.
The River Clyst rises in this hamlet as a minor brook; downstream as it swells the river gives its name to six parishes.. Clyst William though is within the parish of Plymtree.
The hamlet consists essentially of four farmsteads; Little Clyst William, Middle Clyst William, Clyst William Barton and Clyst William Cross.
