Cinder Spur is a small spur extending into Legru Bay, one and a half nautical miles west of Low Head on the south coast of King George Island, in the South Shetland Islands, part of the British Antarctic Territory.

Geological work was carried out by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey from Admiralty Bay in 1949 and 1959-61. It was surveyed by aerial photography by the Falkland Islands and Dependencies Aerial Survey Expedition, 1956-57.

The spur was so named by the UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee in 1963 because the feature is composed mainly of volcanic cinders.
