Chatham Harbour is the large bay indenting the central part of Weddell Island in the west of the Falkland Islands. It is entered east of Beacon Point and west of Loop Head. The opening of the bay into the Atlantic is an anchorage named Bald Road; a mile and a half wide, extending three miles in south-easterly direction to the north of Clay Point. The inner part of the bay runs for six mile in south-westerly direction into the interior of the island.
Lesser bays indenting Chatham Harbour include:
- Elephant Cove on its west shore
- and on the south-east shore (listed from the mouth running to the head of the bay):
- Sealer Cove
- Useless Bay
- Hell's Kitchen
- and at the head of the bay:
- Kelp Creek
