Cape Marsh

Cape Marsh is the south-east headland of Robertson Island, off the Nordenskjöld Coast.

The headland was roughly charted by Carl Anton Larsen on 10 December 1893. It was surveyed by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey from 'Hope Bay' in July 1953 and named after Dr George Walter Marsh (1925-88), the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey Base Leader and medical officer, 'Hope Bay'in 1952-54; medical officer and in charge of dogs on the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition at 'Scott Base' in the Ross Dependency, 1956-58.
