Cape Charlotte

Cape Charlotte is the south-east entrance point of Royal Bay, South Georgia.

This headland was discovered and charted by James Cook on 18 January 1775 and named by him in honour of the birthday of Queen Charlotte (1744-1818), Queen Consort of King George III.
