Cantrill Nunataks

The Cantrill Nunataks are a small group of nunataks reaching a height of 5,138 feet above sea level to the north-north-west of Mount Jenkins and north-east of Mount Ballard in the Sweeney Mountains in southern Palmer Land in the British Antarctic Territory.
These outcrops were surveyed by the United States Geological Survey 1961-62. They are named for Dr David J. Cantrill, Geologist at the British Antarctic Survey from 1992-2002, who carried out research on plant fossils from the area.
