Brandt Cove

Brandt Cove is a cove on the south side of Drygalski Fjord, in the very south-east of South Georgia, 1 nautical mile north of the head of Larsen Harbour.

The cove was surveyed by the South Georgia Survey in the period 1951–57, and named by the UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee for Karl Brandt, the American economist and professor of agricultural economics at Stanford University, California; author of Whale Oil: An Economic Analysis.
