Braemore is a minor hamlet in the upper part of Berriedale in Caithness, on the course of the Berriedale Water, overlooked to the south by Sacaraben and the Maiden Pap.
While Berriedale on the coast has an Old Norse name, Braemore amongst the hills has Gaelic name, meaning "Great hill-slope".
