Balvenie is a district to the north of Dufftown in Banffshire. It was once a village but is now a large industrial area between the A941 road and the River Fiddich, home to the Balvenie and Glenfiddich Distilleries, which produce a range of Scotch whiskies.
The ruins of the 13th-century Balvenie Castle stand to the south.
