Information |
The A6 Tunnels are a pair of tunnels on Cyprus’s A6 motorway; the motorway which runs from Paphos to Limassol (both in the Republic of Cyprus) and through the Western Sovereign Base Area of Akrotiri and Dhekelia. The twin tunnels, are within the British territory, close to Sotira.
The tunnels, 1,040 yards long, burrow beneath Kyparissovounos, close to the highest point of the territory. They are the only main road tunnels on the island.
