Richard's Castle

Richard's Castle is a village in Herefordshire, hard against the Shropshire border, and the name of its castle. The main village is within Herefordshire but the parish church is some way to the north of the village and in Shropshire.

The village lies stands five and a half miles south of the historic market town of Ludlow. It is to some degree a dispersed settlement, with an older core near the castle, three-quarters of a mile to the north-west of what is now the now larger, main part of the village. (Read more)
