Sgwd y Bedol, meaning 'horseshoe falls', are a series of three or four waterfalls in quick succession on the Nedd Fechan in Brecknockshire. The main fall is a distinctive semi-circular fall, which gives the falsl their name, below which the waters of the river tumble over a further steps.
This waterfall and its neighbours are part of Brecknockshire's Waterfall Country, which encompasses many beautiful waterfalls on the rivers running from the southern slopes of the Brecon Beacons.
