Sörling Valley lies between Cumberland East Bay and Hound Bay on the north coast of South Georgia.
Following a survey by the South Georgia Survey, the valley was named after Erik Sörling, of the Naturhistoriska Riksmuseum in Stockholm, who made zoological collections in South Georgia, 1904-1905.
