Robin Young's Hill is a hill amongst the Antrim Hills, at the north end of the dramatic Sallagh Braes.
The Antrim Hills Way and the Ulster Way share a track over the hill on the way between Scawt Hill to the north and Agnew's Hill to the south.
Knockdhu
Knockdhu or Knock Dhu is the narrow promontory formed by the cliffs of the east of Robin Young's Hill. The name is a common name across Ireland and the Highlands, meaning 'Black Hill'. The remains of an ancient promontory fort have been found here.
The site is approximately one mile west of Carncastle. It consists of a set of three banks and ditches, Bronze Age roundhouses, and a probable gatehouse. It was excavated for the first time in 2008 for a Time Team episode that was first broadcast on 18 January 2009.[1][2]
