Preston is a tiny hamlet in the north-westernmost corner of Gloucestershire, close to the borders of Herefordshire to east, west and north. The middle of the hamlet is barely more than a farmstead, Preston Court, alongside the B4218 Leominster Road. At a cross-roads up the road to the north-west is Preston Cross.
The little town of Ledbury in Herefordshire is two and a half miles to the north-east of Preston.
