Meshaw is a village in the midst of Devon. Its nearest town is South Molton, which stands some six miles north-west from the village. The village may be found just off the B3137 road, five miles north-west of Witheridge. The 2001 census recorded a parish population of just 151.
The parish church is the Church of St John The Baptist.
Meshaw is a closely knit community with good links to the A361 by way of Gidley Cross.
