The Meggat Water below Alking Hill

The Meggat Water is a left bank tributary of the River Esk in Dumfriesshire.

The river rises at the southern margin of Craik Forest and flows due south through the hills. It is joined by the Stennies Water from the east just before the Meggat Water falls into the Esk at Georgefield north of Bentpath.
