Lönnberg Valley extends between the Nordenskjöld Glacier and Hound Bay in the north of South Georgia.
The valley was named following a survey by the South Georgia Survey, after Professor Axel Johan Einar Lönnberg (1865-1942), a Swedish zoologist; author of a report on zoological collections from South Georgia made by Erik Sörling, of the Naturhistoriska Riksmuseum, Stockholm, 1904-1905.
