Lough Island Reavy

Lough Island Reavy is a small man-made lough near Kilcoo, County Down. It is to be found on the north side of the road between Kilcoo and Castlewellan, on the northern edge of the Mourne Mountains. It was created as a reservoir, which remains its primary purpose

The lough it is known also a fishing spot, on which fishing is controlled by the Belfast Anglers club. The lake contains pike and perch, as well as small numbers of wild brown trout and eels.
