The Houxty Burn

Houxty Burn is a small river in Northumberland, which joins a number of burns running from the Cheviot Hills eastward to join the River North Tyne, a mile north of Wark.

The river is formed from a number of streams flowing out of the Wark Forest, the main feeder being the Blacka Burn.
