Holywell is a coastal village in northern Cornwall, on Holywell Bay about three miles west-southwest of Newquay.

Holywell beach adjoins the village to the northwest and Penhale Camp, an army training establishment regularly used by cadets, is half-a-mile to the southwest. Here too are the broad sand and dunes of the Penhale Sands leading out to Perranporth.

On the north side of Holywell beach Holywell Cave is accessible at low tide and contains many pools formed by natural buildup of minerals.[1]
