Dousland is a village on Dartmoor, in the south-west of Devon. It is to be found on the B3212 three-quarters of a mile north-east of Yelverton, and running south along the lane to Meavy. Just east of Dousland is the Burrator Reservoir, lying broad in a wooded moorland valley formed by the River Meavy.
In 1883 Dousland Station opened, on the branch line to Princetown, operated by the Great Western Railway. The station closed in 1956 and is now a private dwelling, though the platform survives.
Dousland today has a post office, hairdresser and pub.
