Barlichway Hundred in Warwickshire

Barlichway is one of the hundreds of Warwickshire, in the south-west of the county. It is bounded to the south by Gloucestershire; to the west by Worcestershire; to the north by a detached part of Knightlow hundred and Hemlingford hundred; and to the east by Kington Hundred. There is also a short boundary with Knightlow to the very north-east. Barlichway hundred had a population in 2011 of 113,281, falling to 111,280 if detached parts are disregarded.

In 1855 Barlichway Hundred had its own police force, in a similar fashion to that established in Knightlow Hundred.[1]

The hundred comprises the ancient parishes of:

*: Detached in Worcestershire. Remainder in Worcestershire.
: Remainder in Gloucestershire.
