Sphinx Rock

Sphinx Rock lies off the south point of Monroe Island, to the west of Coronation Island amongst the South Orkney Islands in the British Antarctic Territory. It forms the west entrance point of Sandefjord Bay on the latter island's coast.

The rock was charted by Discovery Investigations in 1933 and named descriptively.
