Skontorp Rockrises to 20 feet above sea-level off Rocky Bay on the south coast of South Georgia, about a mile and a half north-north-west of the Freburg Rocks.

Following the work of the South Georgia Survey, this rock was named after Edvard Skontorp (b. 1885), a whaling gunner of Tönsberg Hvalfangeri, operating out of Husvik in 1920-1926.
