Nantcwnlle is a parish in the Penarth Hundred of Cardiganshire. The wider community includes the ancient parish of Trefilan, township of Gartheli and part of Betws Lleucu. Including the villages of Talsarn, and Llwyn-y-groes, this area had a population of 804 in 2011.
Daniel Rowland (1713–1790), was born in Nantcwnlle; he was one of the leading evangelists in Wales.
